You giggled like a school girl as you watched the little eggs wiggle back and forth slightly in there nest. Today was the day the little eggs hatched, and it was also the day you would be leaving your normal home in the cabin in favor of the base within the forest where you would begin your job as a maid for the Creepy-pasta gang.
“Why are you so excited about some eggs anyway? There just eggs,” Jeff huffed as he looked over your shoulder, not exactly sure why you were getting so excited.
“Don't talk about my babies that way! There more then just eggs!” You snapped, puffing your cheeks as you shot a look over you shoulder as if daring him to say it again. You watched as the killer went to say something again, only to get smacked over the back of the head by Slender who stood on your other side.
“Thank you Slendy,” you chirped, giving a cheeky smile to the tall creature before your eyes went back to the eggs, watching them with so much intent that you could have telepathically made the eggs hatch if you wanted to. You sat there looking at the eggs for a little while longer till Jeff spoke up again, only to complain.
“This is so boring! Why do I have to even be here, its not like this has anything to do with me.”
“Oh would you stop complaining, we're here to support _______ and the hatchings,” Jack sighed, clearly a little upset with the killers complaining.
“Yea, thank you Jack, this is a very emotional time for me!” You hummed, turning your attention to the man eater who stood off behind you not wanting to be in the way.
“There just eggs!” The killer snapped, only receiving a smack on the back of the head again in return for his antics.
You opened your mouth to shout at the killer for calling them 'just eggs' but your attention was re-caught when you heard a high pitched chirping noise from the nest. Almost instantly you let out an excited squeak and scooted closer to the nest, eager to get a peak at the baby chicks that were hatching in your back yard.
“Come on chick's, you can do it!” You cooed, earning a chuckle from Jack and a groan from Jeff who clearly though you looked stupid. You knew you looked stupid, but you were excited! Who wouldn't be? There were three little chicks being born in your back yard, that was exciting, at least to you it was.
You watched with sparkles in your eyes as the first chicks head popped out, giving three sharp chirps before going on with trying to wiggle out of the egg. You adored the way it shook its head as it finally escaped its cell and gave a rapid shake of its head, fluffing its yellow coat out to keep warm. You cheered when the duck locked eyes on you then quickly waddled over, giving a few sharp chirps as it filed in next to you, huddling in your lap for warmth.
“Awe your so cute!” You cooed, snuggling into the duckling slightly, careful not to crush the small creature. You did the same with the second duckling, but the third duckling didn't take a liking to you, it took a liking to Jeff.
“Ey! Get this thing to stop following me!” The killer shouted, running around your yard while the small little duckling followed quickly after him trying to keep up to the best of its ability.
“ Even if I did it would still follow you, it think your its mama Jeff!” You laughed, lightly cuddling the ducklings in your lap as you watched the scene unfold. Thats what he got for leaning over your shoulder.
“Can I pet one ______?” Jack hummed, making his way over towards you once all three had hatched and picked there moms and or dads. With a smile you nodded, holding out one of the ducklings for the man eater to pet. You watched as he slowly begun to stroke the small animal, a sharp smile forming on his face as he did so.
“Its soft, is it always going to be this soft?” He hummed slowly retracting his hand from the duckling and folding his legs under him to sit in front of you, the gaze from under his mask looked at the duckling still.
“Well eventually he is going to grow up, but his feathers when he is older might be soft.” You explained giving off one of your innocent smiles before it was wiped off your face when Jeff practically trampled over you.
The only thing you heard after that was a deep growl and the surprised shriek of Jeff. When you turned over, you smile seeing the killer upside down, dangling from one Slender's tentacles. The face the pale boy was making was hilarious. Wide eyes, fixed jaw and just the look of pure horror, you couldn't tell why he was scared, this hadn't been the first time the killer had been picked up in such a way. Maybe it was the sound the tall creature was omitting? A deep growl as his blank face knitted together in what could easily be seen as anger.
“It's OK Slender, it was an accident,” you hummed, getting up from your place and on the ground while you left the ducklings with Jack, though the little creatures tried to follow after you anyways. You would have loved to see Slender beat the crap out of Jeff, but not in front of the ducklings! They were to young for that kind of violence.
Yup, you had entered mother mode.
The tall creature looked to you as if about to protest but when he saw you had entered your equivalent of 'mother mode' he let out a low sigh and dropped the killer, letting him land where gravity willed him instead of placing him down nicely. Oh well, at least he listened and did as you asked.
“Hey! You could have put me down nicely you know!” The killer quickly complained, getting up and fixing his clothing which had been messed up in his little fall.
“Don't push me Muppet, your lucky I put you down at all,” the tall creature huffed, about to go on before you shot him a look telling him not to. You were surprised he listened at all, because he could easily eat you in a second if he wanted to, which meant by default he didn't have to, he just decided some where along the way to.
“Now, are we all ready to head home?” You chirped, putting on your best smile as you announced your wishes. Your smile grew when everyone gave a nod and started off into the forest, leaving Slender, you and the ducklings behind. You would have just rode Slender to catch up, but the ducklings needed to follow you, and if you rode Slender they would fall behind. Since you were stuck on your feet, you giggled and skipped a few feet forward, the ducklings following behind you with little high pitched chirps.
Now your new life was to begin.
