Watching the killer skeptically you sighed and picked up a stick, using it to poke the fire before you. Why was there a fire you may be asking? Well apparently you both had to wait till midnight for what ever he wanted to show you to happen, and unlike him you weren't one to brace the cold.
“How much longer?” You sighed, looking up from the fire when Smile made his way over and rested his head in your lap. Even the dog was getting tired of waiting so you knew you had been sitting there for a long ass time. You watched as the killer glanced to the sky before turning back to you.
“Half an hour, you can sleep till then if you want.” He mumbled, leaning back against the tree behind him as he spoke. You were a little surprised to hear him offer such a thing, though you weren't going to pass it up.
Lieing down in the grass you sighed and shifted so you were using your arm as a pillow. Just as you were about to go under you felt something warm get draped over you, and when you cracked your eyes open slightly you were surprised to see the killer had covered you with his hoodie.
“Don't say anything and just go to sleep, I don't want to listen to you whine if you get sick.” He muttered, looking off to the side before leaning back against the tree and looking to the sky. Since he was making it clear he didn't want to be bothered you just shrugged it off and closed your eyes, falling into the sleep your body craved after such a long day.
You weren't woken again until the half hour was up, and you were needed for whatever Jeff had to show you. In very few words you could easily say you weren't disappointed. The pond now sparkled a bright silver and reflected the millions of starts that shined above.
“Whoa...” You huffed, your eyes going wide in amazement as you looked down into the water. You were so entranced with the water below that you didn't event notice Jeff looking over your shoulder, his face mixed with emotion though the most prominent one was satisfaction. Satisfied with what though you would never know, you were to focused on the water.
“I take it you like it?” Looking up at his question you turned to him and gave him a questioning look, wondering why he even cared what you thought. Especially all the sudden when before today it seemed like his only interest with you was to either get you into trouble or annoy the living day lights out of you.
“Whats with that look? Its a simple question,” he huffed. You watched as his face knitted down in annoyance that out of the first question he asked all night your first response was to give him attitude. He looked slightly surprised when all you did was giggle and roll your eyes before turning back to the water.
“Yes Jeff, its very pretty. Though you still have yet to tell me exactly why you brought me here in the first place.” He hummed, glancing at his reflection in the water so you could see him become slightly uneasy and look off to the side as if the answer was hard to give.
“Just because I could. I figured I'd be nice since we've been making your life hell lately,” he explained, his voice faltering ever so slightly as he spoke. You couldn't help but laugh at his claim, not matter how censer he was being. It just didn't sound like him was all, never before had he made any attempt to be nice to you other then that one time you were sick with a fever. You had chocked that encounter up to Slender making him since it had been the first and last time till now.
“Well that was nice of you, I guess.”
“Yes I guess,” you huffed easily finishing that conversation since you weren't looking to start another argument with him. “It's just that other then that one encounter when I was sick, you have never been nice to me before just because you could. So my question for you is who put you up to this?”
“No one put me up to anything, I just thought I'd be nice,” he huffed at you. Seeing a small blush crawl onto his cheeks you raised an eyebrow trying to figure out what angle he was playing. He was as easy to read at that moment as a subway map the first time you visit New York. Getting to your feet you made your way over till you stood before him, that was when you simple poked him in the chest causing him to raise an eyebrow at your seemingly off behavior.
“Uh...why did you...poke me?” He mumbled, seeming just as confused as you were since you had no reason to have done it. Taking the chance to step back you did so and cleared your throat, hoping it would clear your head of the train wreak you called thoughts.
“Just thinking~” You hummed before turning and making your way back over to the fire, figuring you might as well have gotten some rest before heading back to the house. You didn't know when you would be able to get outside like you were next, so you we're taking advantage of it like a pig took advantage of mud.
You almost giggled seeing the horrid yet interested look on the boys face, meaning he clearly had experience with those kinds of girls that said something along the lines of 'just thinking' and in the ended had gotten him tied to a tree or something worse. Without thinking twice you plopped yourself down to the nice comfy ground and snuggled into his sweatshirt, taking in the last of the heat that had been there before you had been awoken.
When you woke the next morning you gave a yawn, stretching your arms above your head and finding it a surprise to almost fall on your ass. You had failed to realize you were being carried by said killer, though he seemed less then surprised when you nearly choked him trying not to fall. Gripping to him for what you thought was dear life you felt him go stiff under you only to worsen your fear that you really were going to get hurt if you let go.
“C-can you try not to choke me, I'd be much appreciated!” He snapped, wiggling you off his back in order to regain the air you had so suddenly snatched from him. Falling to the ground with a thump you squeaked when you landed directly on your tail bone, though you had to admit seeing his pale face go from white to blue then back was funny as hell. It made him look like a blueberry with googily eyes for a second.
“What the hell is the matter with you!”
“Whats the matter with you!” You shot right back at him almost immediately, though your voice held more fear then anger. You were still in slight shock from startling yourself awake, and this seemed to resonate with the killer for he tensed before letting out a dismissive sigh.
“W-why were you carrying me?” You mumbled out after a while, shaking your fear from your mind and body so you could actually stand and stumble over to him. You wouldn't of had to stumble if you hadn't of gotten use to being carried, but you didn't really have much of a choice.
“Dawn broke and you were still out. I don't know about you but I don't like getting the crap beaten out of my by Slender.” He hissed, implying it had happen before which just made you smirk. Picturing the killer getting his ass handed to him by Slender was both delightful and cringe worth, though since you were alone in the woods with a killer you kept your laughs to yourself and just reminded yourself to ask the others about it later.
“Well if you don't like it you shouldn't upset him,” you murmured playfully before starting the walk back towards the house. In the months you had known the creature you had never seen him as an unreasonable being, so you knew the killer must have done something extraordinary to get him pissed off enough to attack him.
The rest of the walk back to the house was pretty quiet, though it was more of a peaceful one then anything. Coming to the door you were both surprised and delighted when the killer opened the door for you, not expecting that to happen at all since he normally locked you out of the house in an attempt to get you into trouble. In an attempt to repay the favor you placed a hand lightly on the boys shoulder, pulling him down enough so you could place a kiss on his cheek.
“Thanks,” you murmured before letting out a giggle and making your way up stairs to take a shower before getting to work. Why had you giggled? His face had lit up in a red mess the second he seemed to realize what was going on. You had been so distracted you hadn't noticed the guys sitting in the living room who were now wide eyed with either frowns or smirks on their faces.
“Ooo~ Jeff's got a girlfriend!” BEN chirped teasingly, laughing as the killer flushed even more and sent a glare the boys way.
“I do not! S-shut up!”
